To Probe Socialist Federal Scrutiny Targets Two Politicians Over Alleged Fraud and Misconduct

Two prominent political figures—one in New York and one in Massachusetts—are under federal investigation for serious legal and ethical issues just months before elections.

Zohran Mamdani Faces Citizenship Scrutiny

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has called on federal authorities to investigate New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for possible denaturalization. Allegations suggest Mamdani may have provided false information during his U.S. citizenship process.

According to the New York Post, Mamdani expressed support for individuals previously convicted of terrorism-related offenses before becoming a U.S. citizen. Critics highlight his past lyrics and political statements, especially regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as concerning.

“The naturalization process relies heavily on honesty and full disclosure of any past affiliations or views that might raise security concerns,” a legal expert explained. “If it’s proven that information was intentionally concealed, it could form the basis for revoking citizenship under federal law.”

Mamdani has not commented on the accusations. His campaign remains silent.

Rep. Christopher Flanagan Charged With Fraud

Massachusetts State Representative Christopher Flanagan has been charged with wire fraud and falsifying records. Prosecutors say he misused over $36,000 from a nonprofit while leading the Cape Cod Home Builders Association.

“Today’s indictment highlights a deeply troubling breach of public trust,” said U.S. Attorney Leah Foley. “Mr. Flanagan allegedly used his position to benefit himself, even going as far as to fabricate fake identities to conceal his actions.”

Financial Troubles Spark Investigation

Despite holding two jobs, Flanagan was reportedly in significant financial trouble. Officials say this may have led him to commit fraud. He has pleaded not guilty and is free while awaiting trial.

Agencies Stress Accountability

“This arrest shows we will not allow elected officials to abuse their power for personal gain,” said Inspector Ketty Larco-Ward.
