Soon after, he started coughing loudly as if to disturb everyone and played a loud movie on his iPad without headphones. When I asked him to lower the volume, he said he forgot them and insisted we all watch.

After an hour, I asked a flight attendant for help. She told them to control their behavior, but they refused, even after being warned. Eventually, the couple was moved back to economy for breaking airline rules.
