Snoop Dogg jokingly mentioned not being invited to Tom Brady’s roast in a podcast with him.
However, the Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper has no regrets about not being tapped for the Netflix special.
Instead, he gave props to the former NFL quarterback for not dragging him into the show.
“Tom, thank you for not having me come to your roast because I didn’t want to be a part of that ****,” the Sweat rapstar hilariously said on the Let’s Go podcast, drawing a wave of a chuckle in the room.
“Thank you for leaving me out, man. No, some real **** Normally, I’d have been mad, like, how the **** you leave me out? But I was like, naw, thanks, Tom. Appreciate that,” he added.
The show, meanwhile, was a big hit for Netflix. It roped in a score of A-listers, such as Kevin Hart, Kim Kardashian, Will Ferrell, and others, who took shots at Tom in every aspect—his private life, cheating scandals, career, and whatnot.
Expectedly, some jokes on the roast reportedly hit a few nerves. The former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick remarked at the podcast, “Water got a little rough there, Snoop, I’ll tell ya.”
